NOTICE BOARD

Mass for deceased members:
The mass has been arranged for 6:30pm in St. Benilda's on Saturday February 4th.

Mens Teams Practice:
Practice for all Mens teams begins on Saturday week, Feb 4th, tee times are reserved between 2pm - 4pm. The format will be Scotch Foursomes and will be run for 8 weeks on a league basis, you can play with different people every week as points are scored individually. Full details to follow in the coming days.

Rule on Timesheets:
Players are reminded that they are only allowed to change their position on the timesheet on the day of a competition if an alternative space is available on the timesheet and by moving other players are not inconvenienced on the original booked line. (Penalty: Disqualification). (If you cannot play you must remove your name from the timesheet and/or notify the pro-shop).

Standard of dress for members and visitors:
Course:
The following items of dress are unacceptable at all times:
■ Denim jeans & jackets
■ Singlets, sleeveless or collarless shirts
■ Untailored shorts
■ Garments displaying slogans
■ Track or leisure suits
■ Trainer shoes or runners
■ Trouser legs must never be tucked into socks
Clubhouse:
■ Smart casual dress is essential in the Clubhouse.
■ It must be clean, neat and tidy and in keeping with the high standards expected.
■ Baseball hats are not permitted to be worn in the Clubhouse.

Open Week 2011 Fixtures

History

Waterford Castle is a luxury Island resort covering 310 acres with a par 72 Champonship Golf Course.

Developed by our Founder Eddie Kearns, it was designed by Des Smyth and Declan Brannigan. The course was opened in 1990 with the club being formed in 1992.

The course is a beautiful parkland setting on 200 acres where nature abounds
and water comes into play on 4 of the holes.
A standard 10 par fours, 4 par threes and 4 par fives is the set up with measurements as follows;

Blue Tees 6231mtrs White Tees 5827mtrs
Red Tees 5103mtrs

Currently our membership stands at approx.
340 Men, 146 Ladies and 60 Juniors.
